Our Commitment
The Gulf Coast Community Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities across the Greater Galveston–Gulf Coast Region. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards, targeting compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Technical Measures
Our website incorporates semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast ratios aligned with our primary navy and coastal teal palette, accessible focus indicators, responsive viewport adaptation, keyboard-navigable components, and descriptive alt text for screen reader users.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly audit our pages, forms, and interactive components, and we work to remediate any identified barriers as quickly as practicable. Future enhancements to our member portal and opportunity dashboard will be built to the same accessibility standards.
